What symptoms can CuraR2 help relieve?

CuraR2 is designed to help provide temporary relief from common rhinitis symptoms, including: nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose, and swollen nasal passages. The device uses photobiomodulation (PBM) technology to help reduce inflammation and improve nasal comfort without medication.
How does the device work? 

CuraR2 combines two near-infrared laser wavelengths: 980nm and 1064nm.These wavelengths penetrate nasal tissue to help reduce inflammation, improve local blood circulation, support tissue recovery, relieve nasal swelling, and promote easier breathing. The treatment is completely non-invasive and drug-free.
Is the treatment painful? 

No. Most users experience only a gentle warming sensation during treatment. For first-time use, it is recommended to start at Level 1 and gradually increase the intensity according to your comfort level.
How long does each treatment take? 

A standard treatment session takes approximately 5 minutes. For best results, follow the instructions for use and keep the device moving continuously rather than holding it in one position for an extended period.
What is the difference between CuraR2 and a nasal spray? 

Nasal sprays typically rely on medications to relieve symptoms, while CuraR2 uses drug-free photobiomodulation technology. Near-infrared laser energy acts on nasal tissue to help reduce inflammation, relieve nasal congestion, and support tissue recovery.
How often should I use the device? 

Regular daily use is recommended to help relieve rhinitis symptoms. Consistent use generally provides better results than occasional treatments.
Is CuraR2 drug-free? 

Yes. CuraR2 uses laser photobiomodulation technology and does not require medication, nasal sprays, or any chemical substances.
How quickly can I notice relief? 

Many users notice improved nasal comfort after a treatment session, although results may vary depending on the severity and cause of symptoms. For the best experience, we recommend using CuraR2 consistently as part of your daily nasal care routine.
Is it safe to use at home? 

Yes. CuraR2 is designed for home use and includes multiple safety features, including: a smart skin-contact sensor, automatic laser activation only when touching the skin, three adjustable treatment levels, automatic standby mode, and auto shut-off functions. These features help ensure safe everyday use when following the instructions.
Does the laser stay on all the time? 

No. The laser activates only when the treatment window is in full contact with the skin. Once removed from the skin, the laser automatically stops emitting.
Does the device contain UV light? 

No. CuraR2 does not use ultraviolet (UV) light. It uses near-infrared laser wavelengths (980nm and 1064nm), which are commonly used in photobiomodulation therapy.
Can I use the device every day? 

Yes. The device is designed for repeated home use. Many users include it as part of their daily nasal care routine.
Can I use it before bed? 

Yes. Many users prefer using CuraR2 before bedtime as part of their evening routine to help promote more comfortable nighttime breathing.
Are there different power levels? 

Yes. CuraR2 offers three treatment levels: Level 1 – Gentle Mode, Level 2 – Medium Mode, and Level 3 – High-Intensity Mode. First-time users are encouraged to begin with Level 1 and gradually increase as comfortable.
Is the laser visible? 

No. The therapeutic laser emitted by CuraR2 operates in the near-infrared spectrum and is invisible to the naked eye. The device's indicator lights show when the laser is active.
Why does the laser only activate when touching the skin? 

This is an important safety feature of the device. The safety sensor activates the laser only when the treatment window is in full contact with the skin, helping prevent unintended exposure and improve user safety.
Is it rechargeable? 

Yes. CuraR2 includes a built-in rechargeable lithium battery and charges through the supplied power adapter. The battery indicator clearly shows charging status and remaining power.
How do I turn the device off? 

Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn the device off.
Can more than one family member use the device? 

Yes. Multiple family members may use the device. For hygiene reasons, we recommend cleaning the treatment window after each use and using separate silicone sleeves whenever possible.
Can I take it with me when going out? 

Absolutely. CuraR2 is compact, lightweight, and easy to carry. Its cordless design makes it suitable for home, office, travel, and business trips. The included power adapter supports worldwide voltage (100–240V). A plug adapter may be required depending on your destination.
Do I need to insert the device into my nose? 

No. The treatment window is placed against the outside of the nose according to the recommended treatment areas shown in the user guide. No insertion into the nostrils is required.
Can I use makeup or skincare products before treatment? 

We recommend using CuraR2 on clean, dry skin. Remove makeup, sunscreen, lotions, or skincare products from the treatment area before use, as they may affect skin contact or reduce device performance.
Can I use it while wearing glasses or contact lenses? 

Yes. Wearing glasses or contact lenses does not affect the use of CuraR2. However, the device should never be directed toward or used on the eyes.
What should I do if the device does not activate? 

First, make sure the battery is fully charged and that the treatment window is in full and even contact with the skin. CuraR2's safety sensor only activates the laser when proper skin contact is detected. If the problem continues after restarting the device, please contact Customer Support.
Who should NOT use the device? 

Do not use CuraR2 if: you are taking medications that increase sensitivity to heat or light; the treatment area has damaged skin or active allergic skin reactions; the device would be used on areas other than the nose (such as the eyes or thyroid); children or individuals unable to operate the device safely are using it without supervision.
Can I use it if I have sensitive skin? 

Yes. However, we recommend: starting with Level 1; testing your comfort level before a full treatment; discontinuing use if persistent irritation occurs. Users with darker skin tones are also advised to begin with the lowest setting before increasing intensity.
Will I feel the laser working? 

Yes. During treatment you may notice: gentle warmth, continuous light vibration, and a yellow indicator light. These indicate the laser is actively treating the area.
Does the device require routine maintenance? 

No special maintenance is required. Simply keep the device clean, dry, and regularly clean the treatment window.
How do I clean the device? 

Keeping the treatment window clean helps ensure optimal treatment performance.If needed, wipe the treatment window with a soft cloth dampened with 75% ethanol, allow it to dry completely before use, and never immerse the device in water.
What warranty does CuraR2 include? 

CuraR2 comes with a 2-year limited warranty.

The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship for products purchased through authorized channels.
